Overview

Belize River Lodge rests quietly on the banks of the Belize Olde River, amidst a lush green tropical setting. Balmy breezes, rich with bird song, drift among the private mahogany cottages. This beautiful jungle lodge can accommodate up to 16 people and your tour starts right at the lodge. Look around and you may see the Black headed Trogon or the Vermeulen Flycatcher. Take a walk to the dock and see if a crocodile decided to visit. The lodge is only the start of your vacation as Belize River Lodge’s location in Central Belize allows for a wide variety of touring activities from snorkeling and fishing the Barrier Reef to touring inland and the Mayan sites.

The country of Belize is a very interesting and beautiful place to visit with a diverse culture and landscape. Requests from anglers and non-fishing visitors wishing to know and see more of Belize have prompted the Belize River Lodge to offer customized half-day and full-day tours. So, come, relax and listen to the sounds of jungle wildlife. Inhale the fragrances of beautiful flowering plants and experience the natural beauty of tropical Belize. Depending on your interests, you can spend a week touring and still need a second trip to see more of Belize. The areas of highest interest include Mayan ruins, butterfly farms, caves and waterfalls, horseback riding, bird watching, river trips, the Belize Zoo, snorkeling, scuba diving, the old and new capital of Belize (Belize City and Belmopan), local villages, wood carvers at work, and much more.

Reservation Policy

To secure reservation, 50% of the package price is to be paid within 21 days after reservation has been made.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are refundable only if written cancellation is received by the lodge 120 days prior to guests’ arrival. Less than 120 days, deposits will be refunded only if a replacement can be found. Please note that there is a $100.00 per person processing fee per person on all cancellations.
